April 2008 Vacancy - Motor Caravan Insurance Executive

We currently have a vacancy in our Personal Lines Department for a Motor Caravan Insurance Executive.
The job requires the successful applicant to maintain and develop our existing motor caravan account which has been established for over 20 years. You will be required to capture data over the telephone (enquiries are generated through advertising in national magazines our website) and provide quotations, incept policies and deal with mid-term adjustments. Therefore, good letter writing skills and telephone manner are essential, as is the ability to monitor and report on the development of the account.
The successful applicant should preferrably have a number of years experience within personal lines insurance. Professional in-house training is provided leading to CII qualifications.
Our computer administration system links seamlessly to MS Office for all tasks, emails, spreadsheets and word processing.
The daily office hours are Monday – Friday 09.00 to 17.00 with 1 hour for lunch. You may be required to work alternate Saturdays 09.30 – 12.00 (casual dress) subject to discussion.
20 days paid holiday per annum (excluding Saturdays)
Salary dependent on experience but as a guide £20,000.
